Copernicus and the bread with butter

En 1519, Copérnico se encontraba en la ciudad de Allenstein, que estaba siendo sitiada. En la ciudad había una plaga causada por la ingesta de pan en mal estado. Copérnico descubrió esto estableciendo diferentes dietas para diferentes grupos de habitantes. Copérnico no sabía si el pan estaba siendo contaminado por el enemigo e insertado en la ciudad o simplemente el pan se contaminaba por la suciedad reinante. Para solucionar esto, decidieron untar el pan con algo de color claro, de tal forma que se viera de forma clara si el pan se ensuciaba o si había sido lanzado por el enemigo. Así acabaron con la plaga, y también crearon el pan con mantequilla untada.

In 1591, Copérnicus was in the city of Allenstein, that was be sieged. In the city there was a plague caused by the ingestion of badness bread. Copernicus ascertained this establishing different diets for different groups of habitants. Copernicus didn’t know if the bread was being contaminated by the enemy and inserted in the town or simply the bread get contaminated by the dirt reigning. To solv this, they decided to spread the bread with something light-colored, so it shows clearly if the bread get dirty or if it had been dropped by the enemy. That way they finished the plague, and too they created the bread with butter spread.
